Authors retain the copyright of their published work. By submitting and publishing an article in European Journal of Chemistry, authors grant the publisher a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, archive, and preserve the article in print and electronic formats in accordance with the licensing terms described below. For additional details, please consult our Copyright & Licensing page.
Unless otherwise noted, articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license permits copying, sharing, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation of the material in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated.
European Journal of Chemistry charges an article processing charge (APC) only for manuscripts accepted after peer review. The current APC for Research Articles, Review Articles, and Short Communications is USD 125.00. Editorials invited or approved by the Editor-in-Chief are not subject to an APC. There are no submission charges, no charges for rejected articles, and no surcharges based on article length, figures, or supplementary data. Bank or transfer fees, where applicable, are paid by the payer.
The journal does not operate a permanent or automatic APC waiver program. From time to time, Atlanta Publishing House LLC may announce limited-period full or partial APC waiver programs through the journal's and publisher's official News and Announcements pages.
Each announcement will specify the eligible countries or author groups, the amount or percentage of the waiver, eligible article types, the application period, and the procedure for requesting support. Authors must submit waiver requests within the period and according to the procedure stated in the relevant announcement. Outside an active waiver announcement, the standard APC applies.
APCs, waiver eligibility, and payment arrangements are administered independently of peer review and do not influence reviewer selection, editorial assessment, acceptance, rejection, or any other editorial decision.
Current waiver and discount opportunities, when available, are published on the News and Announcements page. Full journal fee details are available on the official journal website: Article Processing Charges.
To ensure long-term digital preservation and permanent availability, articles published in European Journal of Chemistry are digitally preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), operated by Public Knowledge Project and using LOCKSS technology. Authors retain the right to self-archive all versions of their article, including the preprint (submitted version), postprint (accepted manuscript), and publisher’s version (version of record), in institutional, disciplinary, or other recognized repositories without any embargo period. When self-archiving, authors should provide a link to the original publication and include the article’s DOI to ensure proper attribution and citation of the version of record.
